Official Tournament Rules
1. Tournament Format
The tournament format will depend on the total number of teams registered.
**Option A – Group Stage + Knockout Stage**
* Teams will be divided into groups.
* Each team will play all other teams within its group.
* Top teams from each group will advance to the knockout rounds.
* Knockout rounds may include Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals depending on the number of teams.
**Option B – Knockout Stage Only**
* If there are insufficient teams for a group stage, the tournament will proceed directly to a single-elimination knockout format.
* The losing team is eliminated.
* The winning team advances to the next round.
The tournament organizers reserve the right to determine the competition format based on the number of teams registered.
2. Match Duration
Each match consists of:
* 6-minute First Half
* 1-minute Half-Time Break
* 6-minute Second Half
Total Playing Time: 12 Minutes
Tournament officials may adjust schedules if required.

3. Team Composition
* Maximum roster size: 7 players
* Players on field: 5 (including goalkeeper)
* Each team may have up to 2 substitute players.
* Substitutions are unlimited and may occur during stoppages with referee approval.

4. Player Eligibility
* All players must be registered before the tournament begins.
* Players may only play for one team.
* Players must provide proof of age if requested.
* Participants under 18 years old must have parental consent.

5. Points System (Group Stage)
Win = 3 Points
Draw = 1 Point
Loss = 0 Points
If teams are tied on points, ranking will be determined by:
1. Goal Difference
2. Goals Scored
3. Head-to-Head Result
4. Penalty Shootout (if required)

6. Knockout Stage
If a knockout match ends in a tie:
* Each team will take 3 penalty kicks.
* If still tied, sudden-death penalties will apply.
No extra time will be played.

7. Fouls and Conduct
The referee’s decision is final.
Players may receive:
* Verbal Warning
* Yellow Card
* Red Card
A player receiving a red card will be removed from the match and may face further disciplinary action.
Unsportsmanlike conduct, abusive language, fighting, or dangerous play will not be tolerated.
Tournament organizers reserve the right to remove any player or team for misconduct.

8. Equipment
All players must wear:
* Athletic clothing
* Soccer shoes or running shoes
* Shin guards (recommended)
Teams must wear their registered team colour whenever possible.

9. Team Colours
Teams will select one of the following colours upon registration:
* Red
* Orange
* Yellow
* Green
* Lime
* Blue
* Purple

10. Prizes
Prizes and awards will be announced prior to the tournament.
Awards may include:

### 11. Organizer Authority
The Future Leaders Club reserves the right to:
* Modify schedules
* Adjust tournament format
* Resolve disputes
* Make final decisions regarding tournament operations
All decisions made by tournament officials are final.
We encourage all participants to play with respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
